Product Overview

The Filbur FC-6425 Replacement Filter Cartridge 4-Pack is designed for compatible Hayward SwimClear C3025 and C3030 cartridge filters.

Each cartridge provides approximately 81 sq. ft. of filtration area, giving you a complete four-cartridge replacement set for compatible SwimClear filter systems.

Filbur cartridges are engineered for strong dirt-holding capacity, efficient water flow, and dependable service life. The FC-6425 uses 4 oz. filtration media, molded end caps, and an extruded PVC center core for structural support during demanding pool filtration operation.

This aftermarket replacement set provides a convenient alternative to Hayward OEM CX580XRE / CX580XREPAK4 cartridges without requiring adapters or modifications when used in the correct filter.

Benefits

Why Replace All Four Cartridges Together?

A four-cartridge filter performs best when all elements have similar flow resistance and condition.

Replacing the full set can help provide:

• More balanced water flow
• Improved filtration
• More consistent filter pressure
• Easier maintenance scheduling
• Reduced chance of one older cartridge restricting the system
• Consistent service life across the complete filter set

Warranty & Compatibility

Compatible Hayward Filters

The Filbur FC-6425 is commonly used with:

• Hayward SwimClear C3025
• Hayward SwimClear C3030
• Compatible C3020 applications using CX580XRE cartridges

Hayward's current C3030 manual specifies CX580XRE, with four cartridges required, confirming the replacement architecture used by FC-6425.

Maintenance Tips

For maximum cartridge life:

• Clean cartridges when filter pressure rises approximately 8–10 PSI above clean starting pressure, or according to the filter manufacturer's instructions.
• Use a garden hose with a focused spray pattern to clean between pleats.
• Avoid damaging the pleated media with excessive pressure.
• Inspect the end caps, bands, pleats, and center core during each cleaning.
• Replace cartridges that are torn, collapsed, cracked, or no longer clean effectively.
• Keep pool water chemistry properly balanced.
