The Hayward HCC 2000 Water Chemistry Controller | HCC2000 is a commercial-grade automated pH and ORP controller designed to provide continuous monitoring and precise chemical control for swimming pools and spas. Using microprocessor-based technology and proportional feed control, the HCC 2000 automatically activates compatible chemical feed equipment based on actual water demand, helping maintain consistent water chemistry while reducing manual adjustments.
The controller monitors pH and oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) through commercial-grade sensors. ORP measures sanitizer activity and allows the controller to manage compatible chlorine, bromine, salt-chlorine, acid, base, and other chemical-feed systems. The standard HCC2000 includes the controller, pH and ORP sensors, flow cell, flow sensor, installation tubing, fittings, and mounting backboard. Chemical feed pumps are not included with HCC2000; for a package with pre-mounted feed pumps, use model HCC2000-CP.

How the HCC 2000 Works
The pH sensor continuously measures the acidity or alkalinity of the pool water, while the ORP sensor measures sanitizer activity. The controller compares these readings with the programmed setpoints and activates the appropriate external chemical feeder when adjustment is required.
The integrated flow sensor provides an additional safety layer by disabling automatic chemical feeding when inadequate circulation is detected. Hayward also incorporates audible and visual alarms and diagnostic functions to help operators identify improper water chemistry or system conditions.
