Product Overview

Deliver efficient, programmable circulation for demanding pool applications with the Hayward HCP 2500 Series TriStar® VS Commercial Variable-Speed Pump | HCP2500VSP. Built around Hayward's proven TriStar hydraulic platform, this 2.70 Total HP variable-speed pump combines advanced hydraulics with a totally enclosed permanent-magnet motor to provide powerful water movement while reducing energy consumption compared with operating a conventional pump continuously at full speed.

The HCP2500VSP is designed for commercial, semi-commercial, and high-demand residential pool and spa circulation systems. Its variable-speed technology allows the pump to operate at the exact speed required for filtration, heating, water features, sanitization, or other circulation functions.

An integrated digital control interface includes a self-contained 24-hour clock and up to eight programmable speed and timer functions. The controller can be positioned in multiple orientations directly on the pump or remotely wall-mounted for easier access.

Advanced Variable-Speed Operation

One of the greatest advantages of the HCP2500VSP is the ability to reduce motor speed during lower-demand circulation periods.

Pump energy consumption decreases significantly as operating speed is reduced, allowing facilities to optimize circulation schedules for applications such as:

• Daily filtration
• Pool heating
• Chemical treatment
• Water features
• Cleaning systems
• Nighttime circulation
• High-demand turnover periods

This flexibility can provide meaningful operating-cost savings compared with running a traditional single-speed pump at maximum output throughout the day.

Automation Compatibility

The HCP2500VSP can operate as a fully programmable stand-alone pump or integrate with supported Hayward automation platforms, including compatible OmniLogic®, ProLogic®, AquaPlus®, OmniPL®, OmniHub®, OnCommand®, and E-Command® systems.

Compatible third-party automation can also control pump speeds through the appropriate relay or communication configuration.

Large Strainer Basket & Easy Service Access

Hayward's extra-large ribless strainer basket increases debris-holding capacity and makes basket cleaning easier. The Tri-Lock strainer cover requires less than a quarter-turn to open or secure, helping simplify routine commercial maintenance.
