Product Overview

The Hayward OmniHub Smart Pool and Spa Control | HLOMNIHUB is a smart automation system designed to bring app-based and voice-enabled control to compatible pool and spa equipment. With built-in Wi-Fi control through the Omni app and support for compatible voice-control platforms, OmniHub helps pool owners manage equipment operation more conveniently from a phone, tablet, or connected smart-home setup.

This package includes 1 smart relay, making it a strong starting point for compatible equipment automation. When properly installed and configured, OmniHub can help control selected pool and spa functions such as pumps, heaters, lighting, water features, and other compatible equipment.

Benefits

The Hayward OmniHub HLOMNIHUB helps make pool and spa operation more convenient by bringing smart control to compatible equipment. Instead of relying only on manual switches or timers, pool owners can control selected equipment through the Omni app when the system is properly installed and connected.

The included smart relay provides a starting point for controlling compatible equipment, while the OmniHub platform can be expanded with compatible accessories when more control points are needed.

For customers who want modern pool convenience, Wi-Fi access, and compatible voice-control features, OmniHub is a practical automation upgrade for many existing equipment pads.

Smart Pool Control Advantage

Smart pool automation allows pool equipment to be controlled and scheduled from a connected device instead of only at the equipment pad. This can make daily pool operation easier, especially for features such as filtration schedules, heating, lighting, and water features.

When paired with compatible voice-control platforms, OmniHub can also support hands-free equipment commands. Actual control options depend on equipment compatibility, accessory configuration, internet connection, and professional setup.

Recommended Use

Use the Hayward OmniHub HLOMNIHUB when a pool professional has specified a smart pool and spa control system with Wi-Fi/app control and an included smart relay.

This product is best suited for compatible pool and spa systems where the owner wants remote control, scheduling, and a path to expanded automation. It is especially useful for equipment pads currently using manual timers, switches, or basic control setups.

For larger automation needs, pool/spa valve automation, multiple relays, additional heaters, lights, or water features, additional Hayward Omni accessories may be required.

Installation Notes

This automation system should be installed by a qualified pool professional or licensed electrician. Installation may involve high-voltage wiring, low-voltage control wiring, smart relay setup, equipment connection, Wi-Fi/network configuration, app setup, voice-control pairing, and programming.

Professional installation is recommended to ensure:

Correct OmniHub compatibility
Proper smart relay wiring
Correct equipment load matching
Safe electrical connections
Proper bonding and grounding verification
Reliable Wi-Fi connection at the equipment pad
Correct app setup and account configuration
Compatible voice-control setup
Proper equipment scheduling and programming
Safe startup and system testing

Improper installation may cause automation failure, communication errors, equipment damage, electrical hazards, relay failure, or voided warranty coverage.

Important Automation Note

This product includes 1 smart relay, but many automation setups require additional relays, valve actuators, sensors, or accessories. Your pool professional should confirm the full equipment list before ordering.

OmniHub control features depend on compatible pool equipment, proper wiring, Wi-Fi availability, app setup, and correct system programming.
