Product Overview

The Hayward SwimClear 325 sq. ft. Multi-Element Cartridge Filter W3C3030 is built for superior water clarity, high dirt-holding capacity, and low-maintenance residential pool filtration. Its multi-element cartridge design provides 325 square feet of effective filtration area, helping capture dirt, debris, and fine particles without the need for supplemental media or backwashing.

Designed for in-ground pool systems, the SwimClear W3C3030 uses a cluster of four reusable cartridge elements for extended filter cycles and dependable hydraulic performance. The durable glass-reinforced co-polymer tank is built to handle demanding pool equipment environments, while the one-piece clamp design allows quick access to the internal cartridges without disturbing plumbing connections.

Key Features

325 sq. ft. Multi-Element Filtration

The large 325 sq. ft. filtration area provides high-capacity dirt and debris capture, helping keep pool water clean and clear.

Quad-Cluster Cartridge Design

The filter uses four reusable polyester cartridge elements to increase dirt-holding capacity and extend time between cleanings.

No Backwashing Required

Cartridge filtration eliminates the need for backwashing, helping reduce water waste and simplify routine pool maintenance.

Low Head Loss Design

SwimClear filters are designed for efficient water flow, helping reduce resistance through the system and support energy-efficient performance.

Durable Glass-Reinforced Co-Polymer Tank

The filter tank is made from durable glass-reinforced co-polymer material designed for corrosion resistance and long service life.

One-Piece Clamp Assembly

The heavy-duty, tamper-proof one-piece clamp securely fastens the tank top and bottom while allowing quick access to internal components for service.

Top Manifold Configuration

The top manifold design supports excellent filtration and hydraulic performance for cleaner, clearer water.

2" Full-Flow Plumbing

Full-flow internal piping helps reduce flow restriction, while PVC union coupling connections accept 2" or 2-1/2" piping for plumbing versatility.

Rapid-Release Manual Air Relief

The high-capacity manual air relief valve helps bleed trapped air quickly with a quarter-turn lever.

Full-Size Drain

The integral 1-1/2" drain allows quicker tank draining and flushing during service or winterization.

Benefits

The Hayward W3C3030 is a strong choice for pool owners who want the clarity and efficiency of cartridge filtration with less routine maintenance. Because it does not require backwashing, this filter can help conserve water while reducing the need for extra plumbing or waste-line discharge.

With its 325 sq. ft. filtration area, four-cartridge design, and high-flow plumbing, the SwimClear W3C3030 is well suited for residential in-ground pools where clean water, longer filter cycles, and easy cartridge access are priorities.
