The Jandy Pro Series Levolor® K1100CKC is an electronic water leveler that keeps your pool or spa at the right level automatically. A sensor with 100 ft of wire detects when water drops below its contacts, and the control box opens the included 1 in solenoid fill valve until the level is restored. It's ideal for pools and spas with water features, where evaporation and splash-out are common. The sensor goes in a skimmer or a static pipe, so there are no extra in-deck canisters, no under-deck pressurized fill lines and no moving parts. A built-in time-out sequence shuts the fill off if it runs too long, guarding against overfilling and keeping a leak from being hidden by constant topping off.

Compatibility

For residential and commercial pools and spas on 110 or 220 VAC service. The sensor mounts horizontally in an existing skimmer throat or vertically in a static pipe (new construction). For spas under 300 sq ft, Jandy recommends turning down the valve's flow control. This is a fill-only unit and does not drain; for two separate bodies of water, see the Levolor II K-2300.

Installation or Upgrade Context

Mount the control box on a wall near the pump and filter, at eye level and at least 10 ft from the pool edge. It ships wired for 220 V and must be rewired for 110 V service per the manual. Install the solenoid valve on a supply line with the flow arrow in the correct direction, before or after the filter or on a dedicated line, and connect it with 18-gauge solid-core burial cable and the supplied grease-filled wire nuts. Run the sensor wire continuously with no splices. Jandy recommends an anti-siphon valve (not included, and not needed when fed from an irrigation system) and an in-line strainer.

Customer Q&A

Does it drain excess water?

No. The K1100CKC only fills. It doesn't lower the water level.

Can I install it on an existing pool?

Yes. On an existing pool, the sensor mounts in the skimmer, so no changes to the pool structure are needed.

What happens if it fills for too long?

The fill safety lockout shuts the valve off and turns the Filling light red for 24 hours, giving you time to check for a leak or other problem.
