Product Overview

The Jandy Pro Series Electric Valve Actuator 4424 provides dependable automated control of compatible pool and spa diverter valves. Operating on a low-voltage 24V power supply, this actuator automatically rotates a valve to redirect water between the pool, spa, water features, solar heating system, or other plumbing circuits.

The actuator is designed to fit compatible Jandy NeverLube and Gray 2-port and 3-port diverter valves. It integrates directly with Jandy AquaLink automation systems and may also operate with other compatible pool-control systems that provide the correct 24V valve-actuator output.

Adjustable internal cams allow the valve’s stopping positions to be customized for the plumbing application. The actuator can be configured for standard 90-degree valve movement or adjusted for applications requiring a different rotational range. A manual toggle switch allows the rotation direction to be changed during setup or service.

Specifications

Compatible Applications

The Jandy 4424 actuator may be used to automate compatible valves controlling:

• Pool and spa switching
• Pool returns
• Spa returns
• Suction plumbing
• Water features
• Deck jets
• Waterfalls
• Solar-heating systems
• Cleaner lines
• Auxiliary circulation systems

The actuator mounts directly to compatible Jandy NeverLube and Gray diverter valves. Valve size refers to the plumbing valve underneath the actuator; the same actuator can be used across multiple compatible valve sizes.

Installation Information

Installation should be completed by a qualified pool professional familiar with automation and valve plumbing. Disconnect power to the automation system before installing or servicing the actuator.

Position the diverter valve correctly before attaching the actuator. Secure the actuator using the appropriate mounting hardware, connect the cable to a compatible 24V valve-actuator terminal, and adjust the internal cams to establish the desired stopping positions.

After installation, operate the actuator in both directions and confirm that the valve stops correctly without binding. Improper cam adjustment may cause incorrect water routing or place unnecessary stress on the valve and actuator.

Confirm Before Ordering

Please verify:

• Your required part number is 4424
