Product Overview

The Pentair 523557 IntelliCenter Wireless Ethernet Link Kit provides a dedicated wireless network connection between a compatible Pentair IntelliCenter® automation system and the home internet router. Operating through a high-powered 900 MHz wireless bridge, the kit eliminates the need to run a long Ethernet cable from the outdoor equipment pad into the home.

Once properly installed and connected to the home network, the IntelliCenter system can communicate with the Pentair Pool app for remote monitoring and control. Pool owners can manage compatible pumps, heaters, lights, water features, schedules, temperatures, and other automated equipment from a supported smartphone or tablet.

The kit includes matched indoor and outdoor wireless transceivers, a Power over Ethernet module, communication cables, Ethernet cables, mounting hardware, and a power adapter. The indoor and outdoor transceivers are factory matched and must remain paired for proper communication.

Pentair identifies part number 523557 as the optional 900 MHz High-Powered Wireless Ethernet Link Kit for IntelliCenter systems that do not already include a wireless connection package.

Benefits

The 523557 provides a more reliable connection than attempting to connect an outdoor automation panel directly to a distant household Wi-Fi signal. The dedicated 900 MHz link is designed to transmit data between the equipment pad and the indoor network location.

Remote connectivity allows users to review pool status and make adjustments without standing at the outdoor control panel. Depending on the connected equipment and system programming, users can change temperatures, activate spa mode, adjust lighting, manage schedules, and control water features.

The wireless bridge is especially useful when trenching, drilling, or pulling a permanent Ethernet cable between the home and equipment pad is impractical.
