How the QuikWater Leveler Works

Swimming pools constantly lose water through evaporation, splash-out, filter maintenance, and everyday use.

The QuikWater Leveler monitors the water level mechanically and allows fresh water to enter when the level drops. Once the desired water level is restored, the system stops filling.

This helps maintain a more consistent water level while eliminating the need to repeatedly place a garden hose in the pool.

Why Proper Water Level Is Important

If pool water becomes too low, the skimmer can begin drawing air into the circulation system.

Low water can contribute to:

• Pump losing prime
• Air entering the plumbing
• Reduced circulation
• Poor filtration
• Potential pump damage

Pentair specifically identifies protection against pump burnout caused by low water levels as one of the advantages of the QuikWater system.

White Finish

The 542469 features a white finish that works well with:

• White concrete
• Light-colored decking
• Travertine
• Light pavers
• Quartz finishes
• Modern pool decks

Pentair also manufactures QuikWater Levelers in tan, light gray, and dark gray configurations.

Protecta Foam Included

The Protecta Foam configuration is designed for pool construction applications and helps protect the water-leveler assembly during installation and surrounding deck work.

Pentair distinguishes 542469 from the equivalent version without Protecta:

• 542461 – White Water Leveler without Protecta
• 542469 – White Water Leveler with Protecta Foam
