Product Overview

The Pentair IntelliCenter 523965 is a complete high-capacity automation package designed for pool and spa combinations with shared equipment. It combines Pentair’s IntelliCenter Load Center, i10PS Personality Kit, IntelliChlor Plus40 salt chlorine generator, salt-system transformer, high-power wireless connectivity, and two valve actuators into one integrated control system.

The i10PS configuration provides 10 relay-controlled circuits, consisting of nine auxiliary circuits plus one dedicated filter-pump circuit. This makes the system well suited for more complex residential installations with multiple lights, pumps, water features, heaters, blowers, landscape features, or other auxiliary equipment.

Specifications

Pentair specifies the i10PS personality as a shared-equipment configuration with additional relay capability beyond the standard i5PS and i8PS systems.

What Does i10PS Mean?

The PS designation identifies the system as a pool/spa shared-equipment configuration. It is designed for installations where the pool and spa share equipment such as the main circulation pump, filter and heater.

The i10 designation provides significantly more equipment-control capacity than the i5PS and i8PS systems.

• i5PS: 5 relay circuits
• i8PS: 8 relay circuits
• i10PS: 10 relay circuits

The i10PS provides nine auxiliary circuits plus one dedicated filter-pump relay.

IntelliChlor Plus40 Included

The 523965 includes Pentair’s IntelliChlor Plus40 salt chlorine generator, allowing the IntelliCenter system to integrate pool automation and salt-chlorine production into a single control platform. The system also includes the required salt chlorine generator transformer.

The IntelliChlor system converts dissolved salt into chlorine through electrolysis and allows chlorine-output adjustments directly through the Pentair control ecosystem.

Ideal Applications

The IntelliCenter 523965 is a strong fit for installations requiring control of numerous pool and spa functions, such as:

• Variable-speed filtration pump
• Pool/spa heater
• Pool lighting
• Spa lighting
• Waterfalls
• Deck jets
• Booster pumps
• Spa blowers
• Landscape lighting
• Additional water features
• Automated pool/spa valves
• Salt chlorination

The additional circuit capacity makes the i10PS especially useful for larger or more feature-rich pool and spa installations.
