Specifications

Compatibility

Pentair 520906 MobileTouch II is designed for use with compatible:

• Pentair EasyTouch® Automation Systems
• Pentair IntelliTouch® Automation Systems
• Pool-only automation configurations
• Pool/spa combination automation configurations

Important Compatibility Note

The 520906 should not automatically be assumed compatible with IntelliCenter® systems simply because it is a Pentair automation product.

If replacing an existing controller, verify the automation system model before ordering.

Ideal Replacement Application

The Pentair 520906 is an excellent choice when an existing MobileTouch controller has:

• Stopped communicating with the automation system
• Developed display problems
• Sustained physical or water damage
• Become unreliable
• Been lost or damaged
• Developed worn or non-responsive controls

Because this package includes the transceiver, it can also be useful when both the handheld controller and wireless communication hardware need replacement.

MobileTouch II vs. Wall-Mounted Controls

MobileTouch II provides the advantage of portability.

Rather than walking to the equipment pad or a permanently installed indoor control panel, the handheld controller allows users to access compatible automation functions from different areas around the property.

This makes it particularly useful for:

• Poolside adjustments
• Spa temperature changes
• Turning pool lights on or off
• Activating water features
• Controlling auxiliary equipment
• Checking automation settings from inside the home

Installation Information

The wireless transceiver must be properly connected to the compatible Pentair automation system and paired with the MobileTouch II controller.

Installation should be performed with power to the automation system turned off and according to Pentair's installation instructions.

Professional installation is recommended when replacing or configuring automation communication components.
