Product Overview

The Pentair SensorPred BNC to Wire 10 ft AKORP-10 | 744000340 is a replacement ORP sensor assembly used with compatible Acu-Trol chemical controller systems. This sensor is designed to monitor oxidation-reduction potential, commonly referred to as ORP, which helps chemical controllers measure the sanitizer activity in pool or spa water.

This part includes a BNC-to-wire style connection with a 10 ft cable and is commonly used on compatible Acu-Trol controller applications, including AK110, AK2100, AK600, and Control-O-Matic PoolWarden systems.

Ideal For

Commercial pools, spas, aquatic facilities, service companies, and equipment rooms using compatible Acu-Trol chemical controllers. This sensor is best used when replacing a worn, failed, inaccurate, or aged ORP sensor in an existing chemical automation system.

Key Features

Replacement ORP Sensor

Designed to measure oxidation-reduction potential so compatible chemical controllers can monitor sanitizer effectiveness.

BNC to Wire Connection

Built with a BNC-to-wire connection style for compatible Acu-Trol controller systems.

10 ft Cable Length

Includes a 10 ft cable for controller-to-flow-cell connection on compatible installations.

Compatible with Select Acu-Trol Controllers

Commonly used with Acu-Trol AK110, AK2100, AK600, and Control-O-Matic PoolWarden controller systems.

Red ORP Sensor Design

This sensor is commonly identified as the Acu-Trol ORP red sensor with BNC-to-wire cable.

Service Replacement Part

Useful for restoring accurate ORP monitoring when the existing sensor is worn, damaged, contaminated, or no longer calibrates properly.

Benefits

The Pentair 744000340 ORP sensor helps keep compatible chemical controllers operating properly by providing sanitizer activity readings from the water sample in the flow cell. A worn or inaccurate ORP probe can cause chemical feed issues, incorrect readings, poor sanitizer control, or unnecessary service calls.

Replacing the sensor can help restore more reliable controller performance, improve chemical monitoring, and support safer, more consistent water treatment in commercial or residential pool and spa applications.

Specifications

Customer-Facing Q&A

Q: What is Pentair 744000340?
A: Pentair 744000340 is an ORP replacement sensor with a BNC-to-wire connection and 10 ft cable, commonly referenced as AKORP-10.

Q: What does an ORP sensor do?
A: An ORP sensor measures oxidation-reduction potential, which helps a chemical controller monitor sanitizer activity in pool or spa water.

Q: What controllers does this sensor fit?
A: It is commonly used with Acu-Trol AK110, AK2100, AK600, and Control-O-Matic PoolWarden controller systems. Always confirm compatibility before ordering.

Q: Does this sensor measure pH?
A: No. This is an ORP sensor. It does not replace a pH sensor.

Q: How long is the cable?
A: The cable length is 10 ft.

Q: Does this sensor need calibration?
A: Yes. Chemical controller sensors should be calibrated and verified according to the controller manufacturer’s instructions after installation.

Q: When should an ORP sensor be replaced?
A: Replace the sensor if readings are unstable, inaccurate, slow to respond, unable to calibrate, physically damaged, or past its service life.
