Customer-Facing Q&A

Q: What does this bulkhead assembly do?
A: It creates the sealed connection where the plumbing passes through the sand filter tank. If the original bulkhead is leaking, cracked, or damaged, replacing it can help restore proper filter operation.

Q: Is this a 2" bulkhead?
A: Yes, this listing is for the single 2" bulkhead assembly.

Q: Will this fit my Triton II filter?
A: It fits select Pentair Triton II models, commonly including TR40, TR50, TR60, TR100, and TR140. Please confirm your model number before ordering.

Q: Is this the complete filter tank or just the bulkhead part?
A: This is the bulkhead assembly only. It is not a complete filter tank, valve, lateral assembly, or internal pipe assembly.

Q: Should I replace the gasket or O-ring at the same time?
A: If your existing seals are worn, flattened, cracked, or leaking, they should be replaced during service to help ensure a proper seal.
