Product Overview

The Raypak AVIA P-R264A-EN-C Pool and Spa Heater 018032 is a compact, smart-enabled natural gas heater designed to provide fast and dependable heating for residential pools and spas. With a rated input of 264,000 BTU, the AVIA combines modern controls, Low NOx combustion, and built-in Wi-Fi capability in a space-saving cabinet.

Through the Raymote™ mobile application, owners can remotely monitor heater operation, adjust water temperature, receive service notifications, and review equipment status from a compatible smartphone. This connected control system eliminates the need for a separate remote heater display in many installations.

The 018032 model uses natural gas, polymer headers, and a copper-tube heat exchanger. Raypak’s ProTek Shield helps protect the heat exchanger from corrosion caused by electrically charged water and properly maintained saltwater environments. The unit is suitable for pool, spa, or combination pool-and-spa systems when correctly sized and professionally installed.

Benefits

The AVIA’s connected controls allow pool owners to manage heating without standing at the equipment pad. Temperature changes and system monitoring can be handled through the Raymote app when the heater is connected to a compatible Wi-Fi network.

Its 264,000 BTU output provides quick temperature recovery for many residential pools and spas. The compact cabinet is especially useful for replacement installations or crowded equipment areas where service space is limited.

Polymer headers resist corrosion from treated pool water, while the copper heat exchanger provides efficient heat transfer. The Low NOx burner system reduces regulated nitrogen-oxide emissions and supports installation in areas with stricter air-quality requirements.

Specifications

Raypak identifies the AVIA as a Wi-Fi-enabled heater offering remote temperature control, operating information, and service alerts through the Raymote platform.

Installation Information

Install the heater on a solid, level, non-combustible equipment pad with the clearances and ventilation specified by Raypak. The natural gas line, regulator, and meter must be properly sized to supply the full 264,000 BTU input while other gas appliances are operating.

The heater should normally be installed downstream of the filter and upstream of the salt chlorine generator or chemical feeder. A qualified installer must verify water flow, gas pressure, bonding, grounding, electrical service, and venting requirements.

Professional installation by a licensed gas contractor, electrician, or qualified pool professional is required.
