Product Overview

Bring exciting poolside fun to your backyard without permanently dedicating deck space to a traditional slide with the S.R. Smith SlideAway® Removable In-Ground Pool Slide | 660-209-5810. Finished in an attractive Taupe color, the SlideAway combines durability, safety, and convenient removable construction for residential in-ground swimming pools.

The SlideAway is designed to be positioned at the pool when it's time to swim and removed when additional deck space is desired. An included easy-to-use transport dolly helps move the slide on and off the pool deck and makes seasonal storage in a garage or shed more convenient.

Constructed using durable fully rotomolded materials, the SlideAway is engineered to withstand outdoor pool environments while providing a smooth, attractive appearance. Built-in UV inhibitors help resist fading, while its salt-friendly materials make the slide suitable for pools equipped with salt chlorine generators.

Safety is an important part of the SlideAway design. It features enclosed textured steps, integrated handholds, and construction tested to comply with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission swimming pool slide standard.

Product Specifications

Removable Pool Slide Design

Unlike a conventional permanently mounted swimming pool slide, the SlideAway is designed to provide increased flexibility around the pool deck. When swimming and entertaining, the slide can be positioned for use. When additional deck space is needed, the included dolly allows the unit to be moved away from the pool and placed into storage.

This makes the SlideAway an excellent choice for homeowners who want a full-size pool slide without making the slide a permanent fixture on their pool deck.

Durable Rotomolded Construction

S.R. Smith manufactures the SlideAway using a fully rotomolded design that provides strength and durability for outdoor aquatic environments.

The Taupe finish complements many pool decks, pavers, coping styles, and backyard color schemes, while integrated UV inhibitors help protect the appearance of the slide from prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Salt Pool Friendly

The SlideAway is manufactured using materials designed to perform well around salt-chlorinated swimming pools.

This makes model 660-209-5810 an excellent choice for modern residential pools equipped with a salt chlorine generator.

Safety-Focused Design

The SlideAway incorporates several features designed to provide a secure path to the top of the slide, including:

• Enclosed ladder area
• Textured steps
• Integrated handholds
• Stable rotomolded structure

S.R. Smith states that its residential swimming pool slides comply with the applicable U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Safety Standard for Swimming Pool Slides, 16 CFR 1207.

Adult supervision is required whenever children are using the slide.
