Important Purchase Notice

This Hayward Expert Line product is designated for purchase through pool professionals or in-store. Contact Pool Supply Depot to confirm purchasing options and warranty eligibility before ordering.

Ideal For

Homeowners upgrading older MaxFlo installations, owner-builders planning connected pool equipment, and professionals adding variable-speed circulation and smart control.

Key Features

• Variable-speed operation from 600–3,450 RPM accommodates different circulation tasks.
• Dual-voltage design supports 115V or 230V single-phase installations.
• Totally enclosed fan-cooled motor supports efficient operation.
• Omni controls provide scheduling and management of compatible heaters, lights, and other equipment.

Benefits

Use lower speeds for routine filtration when system requirements allow, increase flow for equipment that needs it, and manage supported functions through the OmniLogic app. Lower-speed operation can reduce energy consumption and noise. Actual savings depend on your previous pump, operating schedule, electricity rates, and plumbing.

Compatibility

Verify electrical capacity, plumbing alignment, required flow, and total dynamic head before ordering. Hayward identifies this series as an upgrade option for MaxFlo models up to 1.5 HP; confirm your specific installation.

Connected equipment must support the selected control method. Additional accessories may be required for certain functions, and matching horsepower alone does not establish replacement compatibility.

Installation

Professional installation is required. Your installer must verify wiring, grounding, bonding, circuit protection, and minimum flow for heaters and chlorinators. Provide adequate ventilation, drainage, and service access. Remote app control requires a configured internet connection.

What’s Included

Includes the complete pump, VS Control Pad, wiring hub, and one Smart Relay. Up to two additional Smart Relays can be purchased separately. Other pool equipment and additional installation materials are not included.

Customer Q&A

Is this the same as an OmniX pump?
No. This package uses VS Omni automation, not the OmniX platform.

Does the control pad work without internet?
Yes. Local control remains available without an internet connection. Remote app access requires internet connectivity.

Will it replace my existing MaxFlo without modifications?
Not necessarily. Have your installer confirm plumbing alignment, electrical requirements, and hydraulic suitability before purchasing.

What warranty applies?
Eligible residential installations receive standard three-year parts and one-year field-labor coverage. Purchase-channel requirements, installation conditions, and exclusions apply. Confirm eligibility for any extended coverage before ordering.
