Product Overview

The Intermatic T40004RT3 is a heavy-duty pool and spa electrical control center designed to combine power distribution, equipment timing, and low-voltage lighting power into one convenient outdoor-rated enclosure.

This model includes a 100-amp load center, eight breaker spaces, a factory-installed 300-watt transformer, and an Intermatic T104M 24-hour mechanical timer mechanism. It is an excellent solution for residential pool and spa installations that require centralized control of pumps, lighting, and other electrical equipment.

The built-in 300W transformer provides 12V, 13V, or 14V low-voltage output, making the T40004RT3 particularly useful for powering compatible pool and spa lighting systems. The integrated T104M mechanism operates on 240 VAC and provides dependable mechanical scheduling for pool pumps or other equipment.

Constructed with a durable Type 3R beige metal enclosure, the T40004RT3 is designed for indoor or outdoor installations and helps simplify equipment-pad wiring by consolidating several electrical components into a single enclosure. Intermatic

Specifications

Specifications are based on Intermatic's published technical information for the T40004RT3. Intermatic

Built-In 300W Pool Light Transformer

One of the main advantages of the T40004RT3 is its integrated 300-watt transformer. Instead of installing a separate transformer enclosure for compatible low-voltage pool or landscape lighting, the transformer is incorporated directly into the control center.

Selectable 12V, 13V and 14V AC outputs provide additional flexibility for compensating for voltage drop in properly designed low-voltage lighting circuits. Intermatic

Integrated T104M Mechanical Timer

The included Intermatic T104M is a proven 24-hour mechanical timer mechanism commonly used to automate pool pumps and other 240V equipment.

It allows equipment to be scheduled automatically rather than requiring manual switching each day.

The T104M mechanism is rated for substantial pool-equipment loads, including motors up to 5 HP at 240 VAC, subject to proper installation and applicable electrical requirements. Intermatic
