Product Overview

The Pentair MasterTemp 125 Manifold Kit | 474972 is a genuine Pentair replacement manifold assembly kit designed for compatible Pentair MasterTemp 125 pool and spa heaters. This kit is used to repair or replace a damaged, leaking, cracked, or worn manifold assembly and helps restore proper heater water flow, sealing, bypass function, and pressure-switch operation.

The manifold assembly is a critical part of the heater’s water system. It directs pool water through the heater, supports the bypass valve, seals against the heat exchanger, and provides the proper location for the water pressure switch. When the original manifold is damaged or the seals have failed, replacing the assembly with the correct OEM kit helps restore safe and reliable heater operation.

This kit is commonly listed for MasterTemp 125 heaters and includes major manifold service components such as the coil/tubesheet sealing O-ring kit, manifold bottom plate, manifold O-ring, baffle plate, bypass valve, water pressure switch, manifold, stainless steel washer, and hex cap screw. Public listings identify the UPC as 788379865245.

Benefits

The Pentair 474972 manifold kit helps restore proper operation to compatible MasterTemp 125 heaters. A failing manifold can cause leaks, flow issues, pressure-switch problems, heater shutdowns, or improper bypass operation.

Using the correct OEM kit helps ensure proper fit, sealing, and compatibility with the MasterTemp 125 water system. Because the kit includes the manifold, O-rings, baffle plate, bypass valve, pressure switch, and hardware, it provides the main components needed for a thorough manifold service.

For pool professionals, this kit is a practical repair solution when the heater is otherwise serviceable and does not require full replacement.

Compatibility Notes

This manifold kit is designed for compatible Pentair MasterTemp 125 pool and spa heaters.

Common compatibility references include:

• Pentair MasterTemp 125 heaters
• MasterTemp 125,000 BTU natural gas models
• MasterTemp 125,000 BTU propane models
• Pentair model references 461058, 461059, 461060, and 461061, when verified by heater label and parts diagram

Always confirm the heater model number, serial number, fuel type, manufacturing revision, water system diagram, and existing manifold part number before ordering.

Installation Notes

This manifold kit should be installed by a qualified pool heater technician. Pool heaters involve water, gas, electrical, combustion, pressure, and safety systems that must be serviced correctly.

Before installation, turn off power, gas supply, and pool circulation equipment. Allow the heater to cool fully and relieve system pressure before opening the water system.

During installation, inspect the heat exchanger sealing surface, bypass assembly, water pressure switch connection, O-rings, sensors, wiring, and plumbing unions. After installation, test for leaks, confirm proper water flow, verify pressure switch operation, and ensure the heater starts and runs safely.
