Product Overview

Restore your Sta-Rite System:2 PLM150 filter with the correctly sized Pentair replacement module. Part 27002-0150S is the 150-square-foot filter module specified for the PLM150 pool and spa filter. It replaces the removable filtration element inside the existing tank, so you can renew the filter media without replacing the complete filter assembly.

The System:2 modular media design allows the module to be removed for cleaning and replaced when cleaning no longer restores satisfactory performance. This part is useful when the existing module has damaged media, persistent buildup, or wear that affects filtration. It is sized for the PLM150; other PLM models have their own module part numbers.

Compatibility and Installation

Confirm “PLM150” on your filter’s model label before ordering. A matching 150-square-foot rating alone is not enough to establish fit. Pentair assigns different module numbers to the PLM100, PLM125, PLM175, PLM200, and PLM300.

Turn off the pump, isolate the filter as directed in its manual, and fully release pressure through the air relief valve before opening the tank. Inspect the tank seal, closure ring, and other accessible components during replacement. Follow Pentair’s assembly and startup instructions, including venting trapped air before operation. The tank, closure ring, pressure gauge, and air bleed assembly are separate components.
