Both are rated for pools up to 40,000 gallons. The IntelliChlor Plus is Pentair's newer cell line; check the listing for compatibility with your power center or automation before swapping one for the other.

How long does an IntelliChlor cell last?
Cell life depends on run time, output setting and water balance. Keeping salt, pH and calcium in range and cleaning scale from the plates when needed are the biggest factors in getting full life from a cell.

Can I run my pool without the cell over winter?
