Product Overview

The FlowVis FV-2 Flow Meter with Check Valve is a professional-grade flow monitoring solution designed for 2" Schedule 40 PVC pool and spa plumbing. It combines an accurate, easy-to-read flow meter with a functional check valve, helping pool owners and service professionals monitor system flow while reducing the risk of reverse flow in compatible installations.

Ideal for variable-speed pump systems, filtration setups, heaters, salt chlorine generators, and general pool circulation lines, the FV-2 makes it easier to confirm proper water flow and fine-tune equipment performance.

Ideal For

The FlowVis FV-2 is ideal for residential and commercial pool systems using 2" Schedule 40 PVC plumbing where accurate flow measurement is needed. It is especially useful for variable-speed pump optimization, heater flow verification, salt system protection, and professional service diagnostics.

Key Features

Built-In Flow Meter and Check Valve

Combines two important pool plumbing functions in one compact unit: a precision flow meter and a functioning check valve. This helps simplify plumbing layouts while giving users clear visibility into actual system flow.

Designed for 2" Schedule 40 PVC

The FV-2 is made for 2" Schedule 40 PVC pool and spa plumbing, making it a strong fit for many common residential and light commercial equipment pads.

Easy-to-Read GPM Scale

The clear GPM scale allows quick flow rate readings without electronics, batteries, or calibration. This makes it simple to verify flow for pumps, filters, heaters, sanitizers, and water features.

Flexible Installation Orientation

FlowVis models are designed for flexible installation and can be installed horizontally, vertically, or upside down. This is especially helpful when working with tight or crowded equipment pad layouts.

High Accuracy Performance

The FlowVis FV-2 is engineered to provide accurate flow readings, helping users monitor circulation performance and confirm that equipment is operating within recommended flow ranges.

No Calibration Required

The FV-2 does not require field calibration, making installation and use straightforward for both pool professionals and experienced pool owners.

Useful for Variable-Speed Pumps

By showing actual flow rate, the FV-2 helps users dial in variable-speed pump settings for efficient circulation, proper equipment operation, and potential energy savings.

Benefits

The FlowVis FV-2 helps take the guesswork out of pool circulation. Instead of relying only on pump RPM or filter pressure, users can see actual flow in gallons per minute and make informed adjustments.

Its integrated check valve function helps prevent unwanted reverse flow in compatible plumbing configurations, while the compact design can reduce the need for separate components on the equipment pad.

For service technicians, the FV-2 is also a valuable diagnostic tool for checking flow through heaters, sanitizers, filters, and other pool equipment.
