Benefits

The Pentair 263042Z rebuild kit helps extend the life of a compatible check valve by replacing the internal wear parts instead of cutting out and replumbing the entire valve. A worn flapper or damaged lid seal can allow water to drain backward, cause leaks, or reduce system performance.

By replacing the lid, O-ring, flapper, and screws, this kit helps restore proper one-way flow and sealing performance in compatible Pentair check valves. It is especially useful near heaters, chlorinators, salt systems, solar loops, and elevated plumbing where backflow prevention is important.

Specifications

Warranty & Compatibility

Before ordering, confirm the existing valve model, valve size, body condition, lid style, flapper style, and whether the valve body is still serviceable. This kit repairs the internal valve components but does not replace the complete valve body.

If the valve body is cracked, warped, glued incorrectly, or leaking from the plumbing connections, the complete check valve may need to be replaced instead.
