Product Overview

The Pentair iChlor Spacer Kit | 523102 is a genuine Pentair replacement accessory designed to temporarily take the place of a compatible salt chlorine generator cell. The spacer maintains a closed plumbing loop so the pool's hydraulic system can continue circulating water while the salt cell is removed for service, cleaning, replacement, or seasonal storage.

Pentair currently specifies 523102 as the spacer cell for IntelliChlor LT15, LT25, and Plus30 salt chlorine generator models.

This spacer is especially useful when removing the chlorine-generating cell during maintenance or winterization without leaving an open section in the pool's return plumbing.

Specifications

How the Spacer Works

A salt chlorine generator cell is installed directly into the pool's circulation plumbing. When the cell is removed for cleaning, repair, replacement, or storage, the plumbing would normally be left open.

The Pentair 523102 Spacer Cell installs in place of the compatible chlorine generator cell, completing the plumbing connection and allowing water to continue circulating through the pool system.

The spacer itself does not generate chlorine and does not replace the operational function of the salt cell. It is intended strictly as a temporary plumbing bypass or spacer.

Ideal Uses

The Pentair 523102 is useful when:

• Removing the salt cell for cleaning
• Sending a cell out for testing or repair
• Replacing a failed chlorine generator cell
• Winterizing the salt system
• Storing the chlorine generator cell during the off-season
• Operating the circulation system temporarily without the salt cell installed

Important Compatibility Note

Part 523102 is not the universal spacer for every Pentair IntelliChlor system.

Use:

523102 — IntelliChlor LT15, LT25 and Plus30

520588 — IntelliChlor Plus40 and Plus60

Always verify the installed salt chlorine generator model before ordering.
