The Pentair 470179 is a genuine OEM electronic thermostat circuit board for Pentair PowerMax IID pool and spa heaters, models 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 and 400, and select MiniMax models. The board reads water temperature and controls when the heater calls for heat, so a failed board can leave the heater not firing, not shutting off, or not holding the set temperature. Replacing it restores accurate temperature control.
