Installation Information

Electrical power to the heat pump must be completely disconnected at the breaker before servicing the control system. The unit should also be allowed to shut down completely before access panels are removed.

During replacement, the existing wiring connectors are transferred to the new control board. Inspect the wiring harnesses, connectors, communication cable, temperature sensors, pressure-switch wiring, and surrounding electrical components for corrosion or damage.

Raypak specifies that all components supplied in the replacement kit should be installed. Installation should be performed by a qualified heat-pump or pool-equipment service professional.
