Product Overview

The Valve Kit LP 6PT 1-1/2" Low Profile | 230148 is a replacement 6-port low-profile T-valve kit designed for compatible A&A Manufacturing / Pentair in-floor pool cleaning water valve systems.

This kit is used to rebuild the internal operating components of a compatible 1.5" 6-port low-profile water valve, helping restore proper zone cycling, water distribution, and in-floor cleaning performance. It is ideal when the existing valve is no longer rotating correctly, has worn internal components, or is causing weak or uneven cleaning zone operation.

Designed for the low-profile / side-feed style A&A water valve, this kit helps avoid replacing the entire valve body when the housing is still in usable condition.

Ideal For

• A&A / Pentair in-floor cleaning systems
• 6-port low-profile water valves
• 1.5" plumbing valve applications
• Side-feed low-profile valve assemblies
• Rebuilding worn internal valve components
• Restoring proper zone cycling
• Improving pop-up head performance
• Repairing valves that are stuck on one zone
• Pool service technicians and repair professionals
• In-floor cleaning system maintenance

Key Features

• 6-port low-profile T-valve kit — designed for compatible A&A / Pentair low-profile water valve systems.
• 1.5" valve application — made for 1-1/2" low-profile valve plumbing configurations.
• Internal rebuild kit — replaces key internal valve components without replacing the entire valve housing.
• Restores zone rotation — helps the valve cycle water through multiple in-floor cleaning zones.
• Supports proper water distribution — improves flow control to pop-up heads and cleaning circuits.
• Low-profile valve compatibility — intended for side-feed / low-profile water valves with T-valves at the bottom of the valve.
• Updated gear plate design — replacement cam / gear plate may differ from older versions and may include an updated gear configuration.
• Genuine Pentair / A&A replacement part — built for compatible in-floor cleaning system service.
• Cost-effective repair option — rebuilds internal function without replacing the full valve base when the base is still intact.
• Professional-grade service part — ideal for pool technicians maintaining in-floor cleaning systems.

Benefits

The 230148 Low Profile 6-Port T-Valve Kit helps bring a compatible A&A / Pentair in-floor cleaning valve back to proper operation. When a water valve stops cycling correctly, some zones may receive too much flow while others receive little or none, leaving debris behind and reducing cleaning performance.

By replacing the worn internal components, this kit helps restore automatic zone sequencing and balanced water distribution. This can improve pop-up head action, circulation, and overall system cleaning efficiency.

For pool professionals, this kit is a practical repair solution when the valve housing is still in good condition but the internal gear, cam, impeller, shaft, or sealing components need replacement.

Specifications

Included Components

Valve body, valve lid, pressure relief valve, band clamp, T-valves, plumbing unions, base assembly, and complete water valve are sold separately unless specifically included by the supplier.

Compatibility Notes

This kit is designed for compatible A&A / Pentair 6-port low-profile 1.5" T-valve systems.

Before ordering, verify that your existing valve is:

• A low-profile / side-feed A&A-style water valve
• A 6-port valve configuration
• A 1-1/2" plumbing size
• A T-valve style assembly with T-valves located at the bottom of the valve

This kit is not intended for all A&A / Pentair valve styles. Standard-profile valves, 2" valves, 5-port valves, 8-port valves, and other water valve designs may require different rebuild kits.

Installation Notes

Turn off the pool pump and relieve all system pressure before opening the water valve. Never remove the valve lid, clamp, or internal components while the system is pressurized.

Inspect the valve housing, lid, T-valves, O-rings, clamp, pressure relief valve, gear plate area, and internal wear surfaces before installing the new kit. The replacement gear plate or cam may look different from the original part due to manufacturer design updates.

After installation, restart the system and verify that the valve cycles correctly through all six zones. If the valve still fails to rotate, inspect pump flow, filter pressure, in-floor head restrictions, debris in the valve, T-valve condition, and overall system hydraulics.

Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct assembly, sealing, and valve timing.
